About the Intensive

Visual
Thinking
School
A creative intensive for teenagers.
Painting and animation.
During this short course, we’ll create vibrant, apple-fresh frames and bring our paintings to life. We’ll explore composition and color harmony, learn to draw self-portraits by looking carefully in the mirror and sometimes, by barely looking at the paper at all. And yes, we’ll eat quite a few apples along the way!

Using gouache paints, participants will color their frames, creating small full-color animations. Together, we’ll also find a way to connect all our studies into a single short film – a collective visual story.
