The Belarusian Association of Photographers invites you to an artist talk with Vital Stuzhka, author of the exhibition Terra Incognita.
The talk extends the exhibition project and offers an opportunity to engage more deeply with its conceptual framework. The discussion will focus on photography as a tool for exploring perception and space, as well as on image-making beyond documentary representation.
During the talk, the artist will speak about:
— the concept and development of the Terra Incognita series
— his approach to analog photography and multiple exposure
— lith printing as a key artistic method
— the materiality of the image as part of visual meaning
The conversation will also address broader questions concerning the boundaries of the photographic medium, the relationship between reality and its interpretation, and the notion of inner space as a source of visual experience.
The event will be held in an open format, with time for questions and discussion.
