Anatoly Kukharchuk: City.

The Mogilev City History Museum presents a solo exhibition by photographer and member of the Belarusian Association of Photographers Anatoly Dmitrievich Kukharchuk.

The exhibition project City explores the visual and cultural language of the urban environment. The works on view were created during the artist’s travels in Belarus and abroad, and are united by a sustained observation of city life – its architecture, rhythms, and human presence.

Spanning 37 cities, the selection forms a coherent artistic statement about contemporary urban space. Through careful attention to composition, light, and the interaction between figure and environment, Kukharchuk reveals the character and atmosphere of each location, inviting viewers to engage with the everyday city as a site of reflection and visual discovery. Dedicated series focusing on Mogilev, Bykhaw, and Minsk underscore the project’s connection to local cultural contexts.

The exhibition highlights the consistency of the artist’s photographic vision and offers audiences an opportunity to experience a thoughtful and nuanced interpretation of urban life within contemporary photographic practice.
