Guided Tour with the Artists: Archive of Light 2026.

On 26 September 2026, at 15:00, the University of Culture Art Gallery in Minsk will host an artists’ tour featuring the authors of the projects presented as part of the international photography festival Archive of Light.

The tour is part of the festival’s main exhibition project, marking the 200th anniversary of photography. The exhibition brings together works by photographers from different generations and presents a broad range of photographic practices, processes, and approaches to image-making.

During the tour, participating artists will introduce their works, discuss their working methods, and speak about the artistic principles underlying their photographic series. Particular attention will be given to photographic processes, the relationship between analogue and contemporary technologies, and the ways photography engages with memory, documentation, and visual interpretation.

Taking place directly within the exhibition, the tour will provide an opportunity to discuss individual works with their authors and to consider them within the broader conceptual framework of Archive of Light.
