About the Section
The Documentary Photography Section unites photographers working at the crossroads of art, journalism, and visual research. For us, documentary photography is more than factual representation – it is a form of artistic expression where the author’s perspective, cultural context, and storytelling approach take center stage.

We see documentary photography as a dialogue between reality and its reflection, between personal narratives and collective memory, between the present and the future. It allows us to uncover hidden processes, pose critical questions, and find a visual language to speak about what defines our time.
