The Head of Communications & Marketing develops and implements an integrated strategy that strengthens the Union’s public identity, expands its partnership network, and fosters engagement across artistic and cultural communities. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on creativity – uniting storytelling, media relations, and visual communication.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy, including positioning, key narratives, and media outreach.
Manage and curate the content plan for the website, social media platforms, newsletters, press releases, and digests.
Adapt communication tone and style for both local and international audiences — in Russian and English.
Shape and protect the Union’s visual identity, maintaining consistent graphic and editorial standards.
Build and sustain relationships with media outlets, cultural partners, and influencers to promote projects, exhibitions, and achievements.
Organize and promote events from a communications and brand presence perspective.
Monitor analytics, manage budgets, and evaluate performance through engagement metrics and KPIs.
Requirements
Higher education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Cultural Studies.
At least 3–5 years of professional experience in an art institution, cultural organization, or creative agency.
Excellent command of Russian and English (both written and spoken).
Strong skills in media planning, SMM, copywriting, and visual storytelling.
Proficiency in digital tools: CMS platforms, email marketing, Google Analytics, and social media management.
Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
